A warm welcome to Maria Korom!

Maria Korom

In April 2016 Maria Korom joined the Lynch lab as a Senior Research Associate and lab manager. Maria was a pediatrician in Kistarcsa, Hungary before becoming a medical researcher at St. Louis University.  During her post-doctoral studies, she performed extensive molecular biology and virology studies of proteins involved in Herpes Simplex 2 (HSV-2) virulence. In the Lynch lab, she will be investigating pathways of HIV-1 escape from broadly neutralizing antibodies.
